First Sunday

Today has been a lazy Sunday. Watching football and basketball, Battier has been awesome! She naps, wakes up, I take her outside then back to playing before another nap.

During half time of the 49ers game we went outside to the tennis court to run and get her 15th of the month shot. I like to take photos of the puppy on the day they were born every month on our tennis court, the blue background makes for great photos.

Battier's first night at home...

Battier's first night at home was a success! She slept from around 11pm-6:30am! Yesterday she came home for the first time and we explored the house and the yard. Great grandma Chandra isn't too sure about her yet, hopefully today they'll play together!

Battier is Home!

Today I drove to Petaluma to pick up Battier from friends and CCI Graduates with my 2nd puppy Hiltie, who is actually Great Great Aunt to the B puppies! Her Dad OMSI is also my breeder Chandra's (Shawn) Dad. It was great visiting with everyone and getting pictures of all 3 of the girls together! 

Battier whined for a few minutes and then slept the rest of the way home to Sacramento. She's a great puppy! I can tell we're going to have a lot of fun together. According to her paperwork now, Battier will be with me until May 2015.

Another busy day for Battier!

     

Battier had another great day! She's being a very good girl and is very sweet. Check out the pictures in her cape, she looks like a pro already!

Found out today that Battier turned in to CCI at 16.125 lbs! Such a big girl! Her brother Brubeck was 17 lbs! Guess it helps that there were only 6 puppies in this litter, more food to go around :)

Battier tried on her cape for the first time! She's already looking up to Hiltie in her blue cape! Hopefully one day Battier's cape will turn from yellow to blue! CCI puppies wear yellow during their time in training with their puppy raisers. When puppies go to Advanced Training at one of the 5 centers around the country, their capes become blue when they graduate!

Sounds like Battier had a great day today! She explored the backyard and got to hang out with Hiltie. Looks like they're having a lot of fun!
