Battier has had a very busy week. I have started working at our actual office this week instead of at home which is new for Battier. She gets a lot of down-stay practice and she's doing great! I can leave her in a down and go downstairs to make copies or work on projects and she doesn't move. Everyone at the office respects the rules that she can't be played with or pet without me saying it's okay. She pretty much sleeps until I release her. It's impressive for a 6 month old puppy, but I wouldn't expect anything less from her! Battier really is such an awesome puppy!
Today we also went to Target, I realized that it was her first time in Target. Battier has been to grocery stores, Home Depot and the mall, but today was a first. She did great! Her auto-sits are pretty solid.
We came home tonight and Battier had some playtime with Shawn to unwind from the long day. She loves to run circles around the bushes by our tennis court, up the path and then jump on our trampoline that is built into the ground. It's nice for the dogs because the trampoline part is level with the grass. After playtime we went to a Deaf Social at Starbucks CCI friends who are in ASL 1. Battier slept under the table and was a topic of a lot of conversations along with CCI puppy Spunky and Service Dog Felice. They were all so good that no one really knew they were there unless they almost stepped on them!
Tired girls! It's almost Friday!
