Battier had Riffraff puppy class tonight. This is her first semester in Riffraff and she's doing great! We practiced heel, side, jump, stand, out and all of these in different environments. There were about 15 dogs in class tonight and it's always a fun for the people at the El Dorado Town Center to see.

JUMP - Mingo (SC), Battier and Spunky (COC, fresh out of college).
Pretty girl.
After we practiced OUT we tied the puppies down to a fence and walked away. Battier was the 2nd puppy to do her OUT command, so she was on a down for awhile. Our trainer Carly walked over the dogs and stumbled towards them and also did some other distractions. Battier was one of the few that didn't move at all during all the distractions. Carly asked if Battier has been to a lot of bars since she didn't care when she stumbled towards her. Thinking about it, Battier has been to a few bars and she has also been to house parties/BBQ's with a lot of friends. She does great in all those situations and it's awesome that it has helped her training. Battier has been around a Pong table since she was 3 months and I taught her to hold her down when we play, it's great training for her to have the pong balls flying and she knows she has to stay. I'm so proud of Battier and how well she's doing in her training!
