A little playtime for Battier!

Battier is such a happy puppy! My Dad calls her "Wiggle Butt". I don't think she's ever sad, which is great! She loves people, dogs, cats, birds and pretty much everything.

It's been a busy week at the office. Battier has been doing a lot of laying down, which is great practice! Her down is awesome and she'll stay in my office without moving while I do things at other desks or downstairs.

I'll work on getting a video of her at work soon.

Low key weekend and busy Monday

On Friday Battier and I were rear ended when I stopped for a school bus with flashing red lights. A truck came up behind us after I was stopped and hit us at about 40 mph. Thankfully my Cadillac is strong and took the force pretty well. Battier and I are safe and she's acting fine, I'm sore, but getting better everyday it seems. We had a pretty relaxing weekend at home and watching some friends in the Dimes Classic.

The games were fun and another great training opportunity for Battier. She slept most of the games and would only get up when released to say hi to my friends after the games.

Today we had a busy day at the office. Monday's are busy and Battier did well just hanging out. She's such a good girl and such a joy to be around!

Since we had a long day I let Battier swim when we got home, she loves swimming! I started her off with her life jacket, but also wanted to give her a bath since she gets dirty at our office, it's a bus company and we walk through the shop a lot. I took off her life jacket and wanted to see what she would do, she definitely knows how to swim! She loves jumping high off the step into the pool, it's very cute!

Now we're watching the NBA playoffs! They've been great this year!!

Skydiving!

Today was a fun day! We went to Sky Dance Sky Diving in Davis to watch our friend Wendy jump out of an airplane in memory of her husband and our friend Dave Johnson. CCI friend and graduate Peggy also jumped! It was such a wonderful day. Last month Dave died in a tragic car accident, one of his bucket list items was to sky dive, Wendy fulfilled one of his wishes today!

Work...work...work...

Battier has had a very busy week. I have started working at our actual office this week instead of at home which is new for Battier. She gets a lot of down-stay practice and she's doing great! I can leave her in a down and go downstairs to make copies or work on projects and she doesn't move. Everyone at the office respects the rules that she can't be played with or pet without me saying it's okay. She pretty much sleeps until I release her. It's impressive for a 6 month old puppy, but I wouldn't expect anything less from her! Battier really is such an awesome puppy!

Today we also went to Target, I realized that it was her first time in Target. Battier has been to grocery stores, Home Depot and the mall, but today was a first. She did great! Her auto-sits are pretty solid.

We came home tonight and Battier had some playtime with Shawn to unwind from the long day. She loves to run circles around the bushes by our tennis court, up the path and then jump on our trampoline that is built into the ground. It's nice for the dogs because the trampoline part is level with the grass. After playtime we went to a Deaf Social at Starbucks CCI friends who are in ASL 1. Battier slept under the table and was a topic of a lot of conversations along with CCI puppy Spunky and Service Dog Felice. They were all so good that no one really knew they were there unless they almost stepped on them!

Tired girls! It's almost Friday!

Update! It's been a busy week!

It's been a few days since I've updated the blog. We had a nice Easter at home and my Aunt brought her new French Bulldog puppy Muki over! She's very cute and we went with her to pick Muki up from the breeder in San Francisco.

Muki..she has a white "M" on her chest!

Tired after all the East festivities.

I took pictures for our website at Amador Stage Lines. Battier even modeled for some, but they won't be used on the website for now at least.

We went to our friend JT's house for a BBQ. Battier enjoyed laying out by the pool!

And playing on the basketball court.

We had to check out the paddle boat! Battier didn't have any problem jumping onto the boat and she sat in the seat while I paddled around the lake.

Yesterday we helped at an event for the JT Elite Basketball Camps coming up this summer in Sacramento! This event was at Chick-fil-A. Battier did very well and just hung out under the table while I worked.

Battier with her stuffed cow from Chick-fil-A!

"Are you ready to go yet?"

Being a good girl at the office.

In our shop. Battier does very well with the loud noises, different smells and people in uniforms. She takes it all in and does all her commands in different environments.

Snoozing on Great Grandma Chandra (Shawn), the perks of a family business is Shawn gets to come to work!

6 months!

The "B" puppies are 6 months old today!

Battier went to Sleep Train Arena, or Arco Arena today for pictures with the 6th Man Statue! I thought it would be a great background for some 6 month pictures.
